Anthem Of The Seas Sailing Out Of The UK In 2020

With the unfortunate news that Independence of the Seas is no longer planning to sail out of the UK in 2020, the UK market will now only be able to sail on one Royal Caribbean ship during next year’s itineraries without flying.

But, while this might sound a bit disappointing, there are still plenty of sailings that will be taking place on Anthem of the Seas, including stops at Lisbon, Oslo, Paris, Florence, Rome and many more. So, here is a quick recap of Anthem of the Seas and what you can expect from her in 2020.

Entering her fifth cruising season, Anthem of the Seas has many of the latest cruising features that you would expect to be on a Royal Caribbean vessel. And as the main talking point for any vessel, Anthem features an abundance of activities to keep you entertained during your cruise. The beloved North Star is at the forefront of these, offering perfect views of the surrounding scenery at almost 300ft above sea level.

This is followed by fan-favourites like the Flowrider surf simulator and Ripcord by IFly skydiving simulator, which have now cemented themselves in the category of best activities at sea. Finally, not to be forgotten, there’s the multi-purpose centre Seaplex (including acrobatic classes and bumper cars) and the outdoor climbing wall.

This doesn’t include the great ways to stay active on board while you are sailing to your next port of call. Whether you want to continue your workout program at sea or take an early morning stroll around the running track, there are a wealth of opportunities available. Finally, combine your session with a well-earned spa treatment for some post-workout relaxation.

Even the pickiest of eaters will be satisfied on board Anthem of the Seas. With 13 restaurants offering a range of different cuisines, you will be sure to find your favourite dining venues in no time. Plus, two A-list chefs are at the helm of dining; Cornelius Gallagher and Jamie Oliver have both helped to inspire some of the jaw-dropping dishes that you can order. Lastly, you can finish your night off with a futuristic experience at the Bionic Bar.

For 2020, there are not many changes to Anthem’s cruising itinerary, except for Southampton becoming the homeport for Anthem of the Seas until she returns to the USA in November. She will still be sailing around the UK, Europe and Mediterranean from early May, including a few short stays in the Baltic and Scandinavia.

Finally, Anthem of the Seas is great value for money. With 12-night sailings from as little as £781 per person, there will be plenty of chances to secure your dream cruise while saving money for onshore experiences.

Anthem of the Seas is an all-round great ship, with plenty to do on board;guests will easily fill their weeks with action and adventure. So, if you would like to sail out of the UK in 2020, then call us today on 0808 163 7523 or contact us through our website.
