Canada has so many different areas that are ripe for exploration that it can be hard to decide where to start. With exciting adventures waiting on the east and west coasts, and in the Arctic north too, the activity options are as endless as the infinite breath-taking scenery that greets you at every turn.

In the west, you will find the beautiful Rocky Mountains, one of the world's most-loved ranges. This wonderfully peaceful area is littered with quaint towns like Banff, Whistler and Jasper, which are all surrounded by snow-covered peaks and picturesque lakes. There's the opportunity to spend some time on board the iconic Rocky Mountaineer, a sightseeing train that cuts a route right through the heart of the impressive landscape. Also, in this part of Canada is the city of Vancouver, a major cruise port on the west coast. Spending some time here will allow you to shop and eat your way around, as you walk amongst the trendy districts.

On the opposite coast, you'll be able to say a big bonjour to French Canada in places like Quebec and Montreal. There are also the cosmopolitan centres of Toronto and the capital Ottawa, which offer many outdoor activities and cultural attractions to keep you busy. Perhaps the most alluring destination in this part of Canada, though, is the mighty Niagara Falls. The waterfall, which straddles Canada and the USA, is regularly named in the top ten most-visited attractions in the world, welcoming over 22 million people in 2014 alone. Your trip will offer the chance to explore by land, sea and air, as you sail on the Maid of the Mist or take to the skies in a helicopter.

Further north, in the Canadian Arctic, exotic wildlife roams free. The fact that all of our tours are designed by experts means that you'll be in the best place to see animals such as polar bears, whales, walrus and more. Many of the trips in this part of Canada take the form of an expedition cruise, where you can look forward to unique experiences in some of the wildest landscapes on the planet.
